May 10 has passed and we are all patiently waiting for the verdict. Though we know who won, they haven't been proclaimed yet so, for me, there is still hope. I am glad that Noynoy won as president (rather than the other except, of course, for Gordon and/or Gibo) but still I know that our country will be better in the hands of either Gibo or Gordon. I voted for Gibo because I felt his sincerity and I know that he only hopes for the best for our dear country. He has the right answers to the questions asked to him during debates and forums. I may not know him that much but I know that most of you will agree with me if I say that he is much (or may I say) way better than Noynoy. Gordon, on the other hand, has done a lot for Subic. It is a secluded place but he made it a better one. His approach may be different, it may be more aggressive and tough but it proved him well. Noynoy has been a senator for, i think, 2 terms but has he done anything? Has he passed any bill? I don't recall any. Do you think if Noynoy is not the son of Cory and Ninoy, will he win just basing the things that he has done for the country? Or may he has the guts to run for president? I don't think so. But I am still hopeful that Noynoy will only listen to the people who cares about our country and its people.
The biggest disappointment that I have regarding this last election is the vice-presidential position. I voted for Bayani because I know that he has done a lot in Marikina and in Manila, particularly EDSA. But i want to regret that decision. I should have voted for Mar just to add up to his votes. Any other vice-presidential candidate could have won but not Jojo Binay. I hate him to the bones. He doesn't have a heart. To most people that I know, I know that you know what I mean, right? Why did the Filipino people vote for him? Was it because of Chiz' endorsement or because of what he has done for Makati? I believe that whoever is the mayor of Makati during his term will be able to achieve or get whatever is Makati now. FCS, Makati is the center of business. It will earn money no matter what. I just hope that people will not regret the decisions they have made.:(
